A hardware and software diagnostic system for machines and devices based on a wireless network of monitoring sensors and methods of knowledge engineering and computational intelligence


The aim of the project is to develop a new, comprehensive and wireless machine monitoring system. The main component of the system will be a series of sensors monitoring vibration and temperature, supplemented with wireless pressure, humidity and current sensors. As part of the project, elements of the system’s ICT infrastructure will be developed or significantly modernized. The system will be equipped with a software layer which, in addition to standard monitoring and visualization functions, will provide analytical support for maintenance services in terms of predictive strategies. The analytical engine of the system, based on the sets of procedures and analytical methods, will use the developed diagnostic models of machines. The effects of the analytical layer will be tracked by the maintenance department or the dispatcher, through observation of diagnostic charts and reports. The architecture of the solution will enable the implementation of the system in various cloud variants.
