Local diagnostics station LDS-1

The local diagnostics station LDS-1 enables continuous control over the vibration levels of primary components of the protected machine. The degrading technical condition of gears, bearings and other moving elements of machines results in a gradual increase in vibrations. The use of a local diagnostics system in combination with the user’s experience enables the machine’s technical condition to be objectively determined, providing early warning against the risk of failures, and ensures sufficient time to schedule an overhaul at a time convenient for the user. The LDS-1 local station assesses the vibrations measured and sent by a WS-VT1 sensor based on pre-defined criteria, and presents the results of this assessment on a LED indicator, showing a correct status in green, a warning status in yellow, and an emergency status in red.
The LDS-1 local diagnostics station is equipped with a Wi-Fi access point and provides the user with an internal website for setting warning and alarm thresholds and viewing historical charts. This website can be accessed from any device equipped with a Wi-Fi interface and an internet browser (e.g. laptop, tablet, smartphone). Using the access point requires authorisation with a password, which protects the system against modifications to warning and alarm thresholds by unauthorised persons.
